When I first read Ms. Bradshaw's post, I realized that her and I had a slightly different opinion. Ms. Bradshaw believes that the role of wome n "shou ld be to take care of home while the man works". I disagree with this because if you still tell women that there is a certain place that they "should be" in society, it does not allow them the freedom to express who they truly want to be and lead a life that is true to herself. Next I read Mr. Jarquez's blog post about women's role in society. Him and I agree that women's primary role should be " to  no longer follow behind the man in the most situations" However I believe that our society still has a long way to go before we reach this goal.

In our society, women are still very oppressed by our culture. They are seen culturally as less than human and made to be admired as sexual objects by most people. This is similar to the plot of the doll house because Torvald sees his wife as a pet almost instead of another human he is sharing his life with. Women are still often expected to fulfill roles as maintainers of a house if they are not being glamorized as a sexual symbol, this view is arguably barely a progression since A Doll's House was written.

My favorite movie plot is the plot of  the movie Mr. Nobody. It takes place over a vast array of times and places over many different story lines. The main character Nemo Nobody, is shown leading different lives that he seems to flash back and forth between. This movie ties all of this together with string theory which is the leading theory in quantum physics that hypothesizes that reality fragments into distinct possibilities every time a decision is made.

My favorite Tv show, Game Of Thrones, is set in a fictional land known as Westeros. This setting is significant because it is imaginary and many things that do not exist on earth exist here, such as dragons and zombie night walkers etc.
