Post 26: comparing women's roles

When I first read Ms. Bradshaw's post, I realized that her and I had a slightly different opinion. Ms. Bradshaw believes that the role of women "should be to take care of home while the man works". I disagree with this because if you still tell women that there is a certain place that they "should be" in society, it does not allow them the freedom to express who they truly want to be and lead a life that is true to herself. Next I read Mr. Jarquez's blog post about women's role in society. Him and I agree that women's primary role should be "

to no longer follow behind the man in the most situations" However I believe that our society still has a long way to go before we reach this goal.
